Luigi Bassi is one of the most well-known clarinetist/composers, and his Divertimento on themes from Donizetti's "La Favorita" is one of his finest works. It is written in Bassi's typical flashy style, and provides opportunity for the clarinetist to show off and genuinely enjoy themselves.
